MUGSHOT REMOVAL AND CORRECTION POLICY

MrMugshot.com is a public information website that provides publicly available arrest records and mugshot images for public safety and community awareness.

All records displayed on MrMugshot.com originate from publicly available government sources. These records reflect information made publicly available by the originating agencies at or around the time the information was collected.

Charges are based on information available at the time of booking and may later be changed, amended, dismissed, expunged, sealed, or otherwise resolved.

MrMugshot.com does not routinely monitor individual court cases or update every booking record to reflect subsequent case dispositions. Eligible records may, however, be corrected, updated, suppressed, or removed under this policy.

An arrest or criminal charge is not evidence of guilt. All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

Do You Charge for Removal?

No.

MrMugshot.com does NOT charge fees for record removal, suppression, correction, or modification.

We do not offer paid mugshot-removal or reputation-management services.

Records We Will Review for Removal or Correction

MrMugshot.com will review requests involving:

  • Charges that were dismissed
  • Expunged or sealed records
  • Materially incorrect or outdated information
  • The wrong person being identified
  • Juvenile records
  • Duplicate entries

A request meeting one of these categories is subject to review and does not automatically guarantee removal.

Records That Generally Cannot Be Removed

Records that are accurate and remain publicly available from the originating government or law-enforcement source generally will not be removed unless they qualify under this policy or removal is otherwise required by applicable law.

Removal or Correction Request Requirements

Requests should include:

  • URL of the record on MrMugshot.com
  • Full name of the individual listed
  • Date of arrest or booking
  • State and county of arrest
  • Reason for the request
  • Supporting legal or government documentation when applicable

All requests must be reasonably verifiable.

Incomplete requests or requests without sufficient supporting information may not be processed.
